Funeral services for Lulu E. Keller, 86, Tipton, will be held at 10:30 a.m. today, Aug. 5, at Sheets and Son Funeral Home in Tipton, with the Rev. Robert Molsberry officiating. Sylvia Gould is the organist and pallbearers are John E. Achey, Donald Armstrong, Ronald Armstrong, Jim Armstrong, Gary Keller and Carl Achey. Burial is in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Mrs. Keller died Aug. 2 at Crestview Care Center in West Branch following a brief illness.

The daughter of Edward and Jennie Lahmon Armstrong, she was born Oct. 1, 1900 near Cedar Bluff. She attended the rural Cedar county schools and Tipton high school. She married Vivian D. Keller March 30, 1928 in Rock Island, Ill.

Mrs. Keller was a homemaker and a lifetime resident of the Tipton area. She was a past member of the Mechanicsville O.E.S. and a member of the First United Methodist church of Tipton.

She is survived by a son, Darrell, Oklahoma City, Okla.; 2 grandchildren, 2 sisters, Mrs. Carl (Pearl) Frederick and Mrs. John (Genevieve) Achey, both of Tipton and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband and 4 brothers.
