Prudence Whitney

Funeral services for Prudence L. Whitney, 88, were held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Massena United Methodist Church, with Rev. Lyle Ball officiating. Barbara Wollenhaupt and Mildred Follman sang "Whispering Hope" and "Beyond the Sunset" and Mrs. Darrell Davis was organist. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Platt and Mr. and Mrs. Conrad McKee were in charge of flowers and ushers were Elmer Pont and Gerald Wollenhaupt. Casket bearers were Carl Hogan, Lyle Hosfelt, Harry Stapleton, Ivan Houser, Robert Groves and LeRoy Mehlmann. Burial was in the Massena Center Cemetery. The Massena Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
