Julius A. Nelson
Senator from the Eighteenth district, was born in Cass county, Iowa, January 14, 1872, and has been a resident of that county nearly all his life. Received his early education in the rural schools, after which he attended high school, and is a graduate of a business college. Was married to Miss Elizabeth Brown January 1, 1902, and to this union three children have been born, Donald, Gaile and Margery. He has held the offices of township clerk, trustee, secretary of school board and is treasurer at present. Is director and vice president of Farmers' Savings bank, also president of Atlantic Building & Supply company. Has always taken an active part in local affairs. Was elected senator in 1918. A republican in politics.
