Coon Rapids Furniture Store

GOECKE, HEITHOFF

I found an old advertising thermometer from Coon Rapids Furniture Store. "Let Us Make YOur House A Home" Phone 145 Coon Rapids, Iowa. There is a head shot picture of a terrier dog on the left, and a baby with a bottle trying to feed a puppy on the right. Caption on the bottom says "An Anxious Mother". In the middle of the two pictures is the thermometer. The whole item is framed with a thin gold frame with glass. Would anyone be able to tell me anything about this furniture store (history, date etc) and how old this items might be?

According to the Carroll Daily Times Herald 1947 and 1949, these two men worked at the store: Morris F. Goecke and a Mr. Heithoff.

Thank you!
