Mrs. Jacob Lamm who had been for a number of years lingering at death’s door finally entered the home from which no traveler returns, Sunday about noon. The deceased whose maiden name was Belinda Dobson was born in West Virginia, June 24, 1829. Departed this life April 8., (sic) 1906. Being 76 years, 9 months and 8 days old at the time of her death. She was united in marriage to Jacob Lamm August 20, 1845; nine children blessed this union, five of whom survive her, Monroe Lamm, Jacob Lamm, James Lamm, Mrs. Wm. McBride and Mrs. W. S. Harvey. She united in early life with the Protestant Methodist church of which she has remained a faithful member until her death. Rev. Rink took charge of the funeral services at the Methodist church Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock. The pall bearers were Daniel Minnich, John Waycoff, John Ayrhart, Richard Sibson, Thomas Evans and E. S. Byerly. The relatives (sic) from a distance was C. C. Lamm of Omaha, a grandson of the deceased. All the children were present at the funeral. The remains were laid to rest in the Dedham cemetery.
