It looks like he ended up in Denver, Colorado. My research for you to locate him turned up something quite interesting.

A Bad Insurance Man

H. V. Houk, formerly of Manson, Calhoun county, Iowa, well known in this city as a former agent of the Cedar Rapids insurance company, and now in Denver, Col., has been arrested on the charge of adultery. His Iowa wife, with seven children, arrived here some time ago, and found him living with a woman named Courtney with four children. They could not all got along together, so they put Houk and his latest wife in jail.
