Passing of An Old Soldier

Jerry Seigler, father of Mrs. W.M. Butler, died last evening about nine o'clock, at the family home in the Kidney house. Mr. Seigler was 72 years of age. He has been failing for several weeks, when it seemed he could not survive from day to day. The family once lived at Lake City. He is survived by the wife and several children.
Mr. Seigler is a veteran of the Civil War, and comrades have been looking after his comfort during his illness. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at two o'clock.
