W. W. Walters and Lulu Anderson

Lake City Graphic, Lake City, Iowa
September 28, 1899

Married, at the home of the bride’s parents, five and one-half miles north of Lake City, on Tuesday evening September 26, 1899, Miss Lulu Anderson to W. W. Walters, of Rockwell City. At 6:00 Miss Mabel Walters began the wedding march and the contracting parties marched to the music and stood beneath a beautiful arch of evergreen and flowers, and Rev. H. G. Hicks of the U. B. church pronounced the ceremony. The bride is the very estimable daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Austin Anderson whose every acquaintance is her friend. The groom is a substantial young man whose moral and social worth is above that of the average young man of the period.

The ceremony was attended by a select company of invited guests, mostly relatives of the bride and groom. The wedding party was greatly enjoyed by all, who partook of the hospitality of the occasion with hearty zest and relish. A bright and happy future lies before Mr. and Mrs. Walters which we hope they may enjoy to the utmost.
