Third of an Estate
~
Marshalltown, Jan. 3. – A decision has been reached in the district court of Calhoun County in the famous case of Mrs. Susanna Casley of England, who sued for a third interest in the estate of her husband, who deserted her and, marrying another woman, without securing a divorce, came with her to this country and amassed a fortune. The court finds that Mrs. Susanna Casley was the legal wife of John Wallace, by which name he was known in this country, and is such entitled to a third interest in his estate. It is stated that Mrs. Wallace No. 2 will put in a claim for services while living with Wallace for thirty years, supposing she was his legal wife.
