Killed by a Runaway Team.
Parkersburg, Jan. 21.—Yesterday morning while drawing a load of milk to the factory one-half mile north of this place, George Baade, a young man who was driving his father's team, and who had arrived within a short distance of the factory, through some cause unknown lost control of the team. They ran to the factory and when leaving the road to make the turn the axle of the wagon broke, throwing Baade out. His head struck against the hub of a wagon standing by the truck, crushing the skull. He lived until 9 o'clock last night.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born in 1869 and died Jan. 20, 1899. He is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery
