Maquoketa, Ia., - SPECIAL: E. Frank Wilson, 85, who died in the family home here early Sunday morning after an extended illness, will be held at 9 o’clock Tuesday morning in the Carson & Balster Funeral Home and burial will be at the Greene, his former home.

Mr. Wilson was born Aug 1, 1852 at Cambria, N. Y., the second oldest child of a family of 10 children of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Wilson. The family went to Butler County, Iowa in 1857, when the country was a raw prairie. He grew to manhood there and engaged in farming for some time, later being a liveryman at Greene. He was married to Rose Breeden of Maquoketa on June 16, 1886 and they made their home in Greene until 1900 when they came to Maquoketa.

Two sons were born to them, Frank, Jr. now of Fulton, and Almon R., at home, who with their mother, survive. There are also two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Grace and Mrs. Addie Merrick, both of Greene; and three brothers Ed and Peter, both of Greene; and John of Grants Pass, Ore.
