July 9, 1930 - December 31, 2017Gladys E. Warner passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017, at the Freeman Hospital, ICU, at approximately 2:45 P.M.
Gladys was born on July 9, 1930, in Galva, Iowa, to the late Iva and Alfred Hallengren. She was raised first in the Marathon, Iowa, area, and then in the Alta, Iowa, area where she met Noble E. Warner. They married in the Presbyterian Church in Storm Lake, Iowa, in a Double Wedding Ceremony along with her brother, Clifford Hallengren, and his wife, Vera Anderson. They made their home in northwest Iowa to raise their four children. In 1970, however, they moved to Nevada, Missouri, and then to Eldorado Springs, Missouri. For the past eighteen years, they had resided outside Lamar, Missouri.
Preceded in death by her parents; her sister; her brothers; a daughter, Susan Dighero; and a granddaughter, Gladys is survived by Noble E. Warner, her husband of sixty-nine years living at home; her sons, Larry N. Warner, of Lamar, Missouri, and Dennis, and his wife, Susan Warner, of Alta, Iowa; her daughter, Carolyn Tymeson, of Nevada, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren; and twenty-seven great grandchildren; as well as by numerous brothers- and sisters-in-law; and several nieces and nephews. We all will miss her.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
