Our townsman, Richard Cox, Esq., who has been acting as auctioneer for the great sale of building lots at Storm Lake, returned home yesterday. About two hundred lots were sold at prices averaging $90 each, the principal purchasers being, Mr. Douglass, W. W. Walker, Maurice Brown, and N. Denton. Mr. Cox says that the Village of Storm Lake is settling up very rapidly, and must soon become a prominent point of trade and business of every description.
