Ronald E. Brown, 77, of Hazleton, Iowa died Wednesday evening, October 23, 2013 at Unity Point Health Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa.

Funeral Service: 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 27, 2013 at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Oelwein, Iowa with Rev. Leo Combs-Lay of Zion Lutheran Church officiating.
Visitation: 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
Inurnment: 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at New Barclay Cemetery, rural Dunkerton, Iowa.

A Memorial Fund has been established in his name.

Ronald Eugene Brown was born August 11, 1936, at Waterloo, Iowa the son of Eugene F. and Mable (McMillin)Brown. In 1955, he graduated from the Jesup High School. On October 30, 1959, he was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Kizzire at the Barclay Presbyterian Church at Dunkerton, Iowa. Ronald was employed at Lockheed Aircraft in California as an aircraft mechanic and later as an auto mechanic in Oelwein. He attended Zion Lutheran Church in Oelwein. Ronald was very proud to be a great grandfather.

Ronald is survived by his Wife, Patricia Brown of Hazleton;
3 Daughters, Cindy(Mark)Gitch of Frederika,
Tina(Craig)Read of Salina, California and
Connie(Keith)Keppler of Oelwein;
Adopted Son, Devin Drew of Cedar Rapids;
5 Grandchildren, Joshua Gitch, Blake Gitch, Ryan (Chantelle Deeds)Brown, Kaleb Keppler and Nicholas Keppler;
2 Great Granddaughters, Grace & Lydia Gitch;
2 Sisters, Rosalie(Don)Nelson of Jesup and
Jannie Hall of Mesquite, Texas;
1 Brother, John(Joan)Brown of Dubuque; and
1 Brother-in-law, Terry(Michele)Kizzire of Mt. Auburn.

He was preceded in death by his Parents; and a Sister, Lois Brown.
