Dorothy E. Quario, 87, of Hazleton, Iowa died on Sunday afternoon, September 30, 2018 at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo.

Funeral Service: 10:30 A.M. Friday, October 5, 2018 at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Oelwein with Rev. Joshua Schunk officiating.

Visitation: 4:00 to 7:00 Thursday and for one hour before the service on Friday at the funeral home.

Interment: Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, rural Oelwein, Iowa.

Dorothy Ella Gowers was born on January 12, 1931 in Duluth, Minnesota, the daughter of Stephen & Ethel (Levett) Gowers. She received her education from the Duluth schools. Dorothy was united in marriage to William LaVerne Quario, Sr. on August 27, 1949 in Oelwein, Iowa. She was a homemaker. Dorothy and Bill were blessed with five children. Dorothy was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She enjoyed socializing with family and friends.

Dorothy is survived by her 3 Sons:

Bill Quario, Jr. of Hazleton,

Robert (Dianna) Quario of Waterloo &

Randy Quario of Hazleton;

Daughter: Dorothy Davis of Oelwein;

14 Grandchildren;

Many Great Grandchildren & Great Great Grandchildren and

Nieces & Nephews.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Bill Sr. on April 3, 1991; daughter: Twilight Quario on October 25, 2007; brother: Cecil Gowers; older sister: Berniece Rajala;
twin sister: Doreen Planka and daughter-in-law: Lynn Quario.
