Tyler Michael Mumaw, 34 of Waterloo, Iowa, died Friday, May 25, 2018, at his home. Memorial services will be 1:30 p.m. – Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at the White Funeral Home, Jesup, IA. Visitation will be from Noon until service time Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family.

Inurnment will be at Cedar Crest Cemetery, Jesup.

Tyler was born March 10, 1984, in Waterloo, IA, the son of Lynndon Joel Mumaw and Micah Marie (Ricketts) Mumaw. He attended River Hills School in Waterloo and graduated in 2004.

Tyler is survived by his father and step-mother, Lynndon and Annette Mumaw of Osceola, IA; his mother, Micah Meyer of Thornton, IA; his step-father, Bradley Meyer of Rockwell, IA; one brother, Kevyn (Maigan) Mumaw of Murray, IA; eight half sisters, Anna Franken of Thornton, IA, Mary Franken of Clear Lake, IA, Allysa Meyer of Hampton, IA, Taryn Meyer of Des Moines, IA, Meggan (Hayden) Hostetler of Grand River, IA, Lindsey Mumaw of Osceola, IA, Lauren Mumaw of Osceola, IA, Ellie Mumaw of Osceola, IA; three half brothers, Benjamin (Brittany) Franken of Parkersburg, IA, Aaron Meyer of Hampton, IA, Codi Mumaw of Osceola, IA; Maternal grandparents, William & Gayle Hogan of Nebraska City, Nebraska; step grandparents, Robert & Sharron Meyer of Dumont, IA; Paternal step grandparents, Lawrence & Phyllis Noe of Independence, IA; 2 nieces, Keira Mumaw and Zara Franken; 2 nephews, Lennox Franken and Lane Mumaw.
