Thomas Ray Gifford was born August 7, 1942 at Iowa City, Iowa the son of Elmer and Inez Barrone Gifford.

Thomas was married to Kay Brockmeyer on August 3, 1963 at Winthrop, Iowa. To this union were born two children.

Thomas Ray Gifford Sr., 75, of Winthrop entered into his eternal rest on Monday, February 12, 2018 at his home in Winthrop.

As per his request he was cremated and a graveside service will be held next spring in Oakland Cemetery at Manchester, Iowa.
