Patricia A. Holle, 86 years old, of Independence, Iowa, died on Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo. She was born on November 29, 1931, in Jerry City, Ohio, the daughter of Clyde Vernon and Lettie Margaret (Haight) Solether. She graduated from high school in Sygnet, Ohio. On April 19, 1955, she and Richard Arnold Holle were married in Jerry City, Ohio. He preceded her in death in 1998. For 30 years, Mrs. Holle was the cashier at the R.E.C. in Independence, Iowa. She retired in 1994. Mrs. Holle was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Independence. She enjoyed mowing the lawn in the summer months, and reading romance novels.

Mrs. Holle is survived by 1 son, Mike (Kris) Holle of Independence, 1 daughter, Diane (Dan) Sherrets of Odessa, Missouri, 6 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, and 1 sister.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Otterville Cemetery in Otterville, Iowa.

White Funeral Home of Independence is in charge of arrangements.
