Instantly Killed.
Waverly Independent:—W. F. Meyer who lived one mile north of Bremer station was killed at the depot in Tripoli Thursday evening last. He was standing on the platform of the caboose, the train men were doing some switching, several freight cars struck the caboose, Meyer fell from the platform upon the track, two wheels passed over him and the third wheel rested upon his breast. He was killed instantly. It was thought the heavy fur overcoat he wore saved him from being cut in two.
