Emily Ann Beckwith Fazzino
1979 - 2012
Boone

Emily Ann Beckwith Fazzino, 32, went to rest with her Heavenly Father on January 29, 2012. Her gentle "hello," kind smile, and strong embrace imprinted the hearts of each life she touched. She was a beautiful living portrait of daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, friend, wife, and most importantly, mother. Our moments with her were precious and far too few, but we celebrate her life and all that she gave to us in spirit and love.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, February 6, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church located at 7th & Arden Streets in Boone. Rev. Philip J. Webb will officiate the service.

Burial will be in the Linwood Park Cemetery in Boone.

Visitation, will be held on Sunday, February 5, at the First United Methodist Church located at 7th & Arden Streets in Boone. Family will be present to greet friends at the church from 5 to 7 p.m. Visitation will continue at the church on Monday from 9 a.m. to the time of service at 1:30 p.m.

She was born Emily Ann Beckwith on August 24, 1979 to Rick and Cindy Beckwith. As the fourth of five children, Emily was proud of the spirited home in which she was raised. There were always family and friends to laugh and dance, cry and support, and of course, enjoy Mom's famous baked beans or Dad's special breakfasts.

Growing up, Emily followed in her sisters' footsteps in jazz, ballet, tap and gymnastics. She graduated from Boone High School in 1998, where she continued dancing, cheerleading, playing tennis and painting. Emily had a passion for both art and fashion. Her friends and family always relied on her to be their "personal shopper," as she was excellent at choosing cozy fabric, contemporary colors and all things sparkly! After graduation she was excited to study Business Law at both Buena Vista College in Storm Lake, Iowa and JCCC in Overland Park, Kansas.

In May of 2003 Emily married Alex Fazzino and the young couple made their start in Kansas City. While there, they welcomed their first son, Nick (Nicky) Alexander. The couple later moved to Boone, Iowa. There the family welcomed two more children, Richard (Ricky) Patrick and Coco Marie. Emily was living her childhood dream of being a wife and mother.

Emily looked forward to Iowa Summer Days when she and her children could spend time basking in the warm sunshine, playing superheroes, running in the sprinkler, laughing together and playing with cousins. Emily wanted to ensure that her children had the same experiences she had growing up, so she planned many family gatherings, and loved taking her children to visit their grandparents and extended family.

Emily is preceded in death by her grandparents; Richard (Bud) and Pearl Beckwith and her cousins; Jason Marsh and Dennis Stammeyer.

Emily is survived by her husband, Alex Fazzino; their three small children, Nicky, Ricky and Coco; grandparents, Clarence Jr., and Bonnie Wisecup; parents, Rick and Cindy Beckwith; sisters, Stacie (Chris) Faust, Ammie (Jeff) Dighton, Jennifer (Jeff) Johnson and a brother, Richard (Melissa) Beckwith II. At the time of her death Emily had many adoring nieces and nephews, as well as a close circle of aunts, uncles and cousins who will greatly miss her presence in their every day. She was admired for her loyal heart, a true childlike faith in Jesus and a rare courage that shined through her harmonic soul each day. "A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous." - Coco Chanel.

The Emily Ann Beckwith Memorial has been established for those wishing to send a memorial gift.
