Linda Diann Stoll died peacefully at home Thursday, September 27, 2012 with all the comfort and loving care that she needed provided by Wesley Life Home Hospice. She had suffered the cruelties of ALS for the past several months and also had received enormous support from the ALS Association, Iowa Chapter.

Linda was born July 9, 1945 in Crosby, ND. Her parents were Tilfred John Kvale and Louise "Schilke" Kvale who lived and farmed near Corinth, ND. After high school she moved to Ames, IA to stay with her sister, Delores Ratliff, and met and married Steven M. Stoll on April 17, 1964. They were blessed to share a great and loving life together of 48 1/2 years of marriage. They had one child, Gerald Duane Stoll, who lives near Huxley, IA with his wife, Janet Stoll.

Linda had worked at a few jobs outside the home and excelled at being a homemaker, mother and grandmother. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing and was skilled at creating all types of useful items from fabric for her family.

Linda is survived by her husband, Steven; son, Gerald (Janet) and grandsons, Adam Crudele, Sean Stoll and Jesse Stoll; great grandson, Logan Michael Stoll and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Delores Ratliff; and brothers, Jerald Kvale and Clifford Kvale.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, September 30 at Iles Funeral Homes-Sundberg Kirkpatrick Chapel. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, October 1 at Sundberg-Kirkpatrick Chapel with Rev. Elaine Jones of WesleyLife Hospice Care officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery near Luther.

Memorial contributions will be given to Wesley Life Hospice Care and The ALS Association, Iowa Chapter. ~ The Sundberg-Kirkpatrick Chapel, Madrid, IA Thurs 27 Sept 2012.
