June 27, 1962 - December 11, 2018

Dubravka Kvakic, 56, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, Dec. 11 at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

She was born June 27, 1962 in Zavidovici, Bosnia, daughter of Rudolf and Janja Knezevic Ivic. She married Suad Kvakic Sept. 21, 1985 in Zavidovici, Bosnia. Dukbravka was a homemaker

She is survived by her husband; three sons: Sanjin Kvakic, Zlatan Kvakic and Suad Kvakic, Jr., all of Waterloo; two daughters, Magdalena Kvakic of Waterloo and Dijana Dvakic of Omaha, Neb.; four grandchildren: Tristan, Elija, Zenaida and Ajlijana; two brothers, Karlo Ivic of Zavidovici, Bosnia and Zvonko (Vahida) Ivic of Zagreb, Croatia; and by one sister, Jadranka (Damir) Tauber of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by: her parents.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18 at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation will be for one hour before services at the funeral home.
