Biography--

Ozell G. Robinett, age 88, died Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at UnityPoint Allen Memorial Hospital, in Waterloo, Iowa.

She was born February 1, 1929 in Waldenburg, Arkansas, the daughter of Charlie Franklin and Chlora Alice (Welch) Bolden.

Ozell attended Gates Business College and Cosmetology school.

She was united in marriage with Bert Robinett on December 9, 1944 in Harrisburg, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on May 3, 1994.

Ozell was a beautician and taught at Pitzi’s School of Beauty starting in 1969 after completing Cosmetology school. She then worked as a self-employed hair stylist. Ozell and her husband were founding members of Cedar Terrace Church of Jesus Christ in Waterloo and helped build the church.

Survivors include three sons: Thomas Robinett of Tucson, AZ, John (Janet) Robinett of Waterloo, and Paul (Anna) Robinett of Moscow, Russia; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bernie Williams of Jonesboro, AR and Joy Adelmund of Stronghurst, IL; and two brothers, Alton (Marilee) Bolden of Harrisburg, AR and Gary (Faye) Bolden of Batesville, AR.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two granddaughters: Danyel Wing and Julie Jones; a daughter-in-law, Mary Jane Robinett; two sisters, Ocie Fortenberry and Vonnie Sawyer; and a brother, Virgil Bolden.
