Lucille A. Rosauer, 81, of Waterloo, Iowa, died Tuesday, November 28, at Home while under the care of UnityPoint Hospice in Waterloo.

She was born September 19, 1936 in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Roscoe and Selma Nelson Beard. She married James H. Rosauer on October 16, 1954, in New Hampton. He died July 17, 2012.

Lucille worked at River Hills Schools in Waterloo for 27 years until her retirement.

She is survived by two sons, Mike (Jeanette) Rosauer of Bonney Lake, Wash. And Tim (Sheryl) Rosauer of Evansdale; three daughters: Debbie (Craig) Walton, Diane (Jeff) Edgar and Joan (Brian) Shepard all of Waterloo; twelve grandchildren: Randall Walton, Nicholas Walton, Lacey Rosauer, Tristan Rosauer, Alison Krogman, Joel Rosauer, Mindy Smith, Megan and Josh Edgar, Alex and Audrey Shepard and Ashley Fairchild; and by 14 great-grandchildren: Emma, Lydia, Nora, Ira, Colton, Rylie, Corde, Alayna, Annabelle, Shaniya, Miylah, Bradley, Sabriya, and Elizabeth.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Keith Beard; and by a sister, Jean Fasse.

Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 1st at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, with inurnment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway. Visitation also for an hour preceding services at the church on Friday.

Memorials may be made to the family, with beneficiary to be decided at a later date.
