Lucille Mary Mangrich

August 24, 1930 - November 18, 2017

Lucille M. Frost Mangrich, 87, of Northcrest Specialty Care, formerly of Gilbertville, Iowa, died Saturday, November 18, at UnityPoint Health Allen Hospital.

She was born August 24, 1930, in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of Michael and Clara Reuter Frost. She married Kenneth Mangrich on January 4, 1949, in Gilbertville and they later divorced.

She was employed at Rath Packing Company and in the cafeteria at John Deere. She was a member of the rosary society and Catholic Order of Foresters.

Survivors include: two sons, Lee (Veronica) Mangrich of Newton and Randy Mangrich of Gilbertville; three daughters, Nancy (Vince) Weber of Jesup, Jeanne (Junior) Weber of Gilbertville, and Becky (Steve) Backes of Gilbertville; 16 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, 9 step-great-grandchildren, and a great-great granddaughter; two brothers, Jerome (Donna) Frost of Readlyn and Gerald (Rosemary) Frost of Hiawatha; a brother-in-law, Carl Schneider of Jesup; two sisters-in-law, Patricia Mangrich of Waterloo and Marlene Mangrich of Jesup.

Preceded in death by: her daughter-in-law, Diane Mangrich; four brothers, Ray, Arnold, Eugene, and Andrew Frost; a sister, Theresa O’Connell.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 25, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, both in Gilbertville. Public visitation from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, where there will be a 4 p.m. Catholic Order of Foresters rosary and a 6:30 p.m. vigil service. Visitation also one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.

Memorials: may be directed to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
