Carmen E. Skyles, 57, of Waterloo, Iowa, died Friday, October 13, at home.

She was born November 14, 1959, in Waterloo, daughter of John and Eunice Connell Kehoe. She married Michael McCollow. They were later divorced. She married Mark Skyles on June 28, 1995 in Waterloo. He died July 7, 2014.

Carmen graduated from Columbus High School in 1978. She was the office manager of Reed Cadillac and later Smitty’s Tire & Appliance for many years.

Survivors include: three sons, Shane (Kristine) McCollow of Cedar Falls, Benjamin Skyles of Waterloo and Adam (Toni) Skyles of Des Moines; two daughters, Rachael (David) Brenden of Cedar Falls and Abbie (Alan) Loynachan of Lexington, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Evelyn Buhrow, Jameson McCollow, Leo and Harris Brenden and Logan and Paige Skyles; three sisters, Peggy McKinstry of Waterloo, Monica (James) Artes of Fort Myers, Florida and Melanie Jensen of Chandler, Arizona; three brothers, Jerome (Pauline) Kehoe and Justin (Rita) Kehoe, both of Waterloo and Joseph (Cathy) Kehoe of Sarasota, Florida; and a sister-in-law, Nancy Kehoe of Waterloo.

Carmen is preceded in death by: her parents; and two brothers, James and John Kehoe.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, followed by a 1:30 p.m. inurnment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
