CEDAR FALLS, IOWA – Mark Earl Magee, 66, of Stuart, Florida, and formerly of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at Martin Memorial Hospital in Stuart, of natural causes.

He was born February 8, 1951, in Dunkerton, Iowa, son of Cecil D. and Anabelle (Smith) Magee. He married Janet Ingamells in October 1973.

Mark graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1969 and served in the Army in the mid 1970’s. He earned his law degree in 1979 from Drake University in Des Moines. He was a corporate attorney with AT&T in Des Moines and later in Morristown, NJ, until 1992. In 1993, he founded the company Asset Recovery Center, retiring to Stuart, FL in 2003.

Survived by: two daughters, Morgan Magee of Des Moines and Brooke Pancoast (Denny Fingers) of Raleigh, NC; five grandchildren, Matthew, Abigail and Thomas Pancoast, Leah and Quentin Mosqueda; his partner, Cristina Fisher; two sisters, Celia (William) Simmer of Cedar Falls and Amy (Chip) Bradshaw of North Plains, OR; two brothers, Dwight (Shawna) Magee of Bradenton, FL and Howard (Michelle) Magee of Phoenix, AZ.

Preceded in death by his parents; a baby brother, Richard; maternal grandmother, Sena Zeiner of Cedar Falls; and paternal grandparents, Earl “Pete” and Myrtle Magee of Dunkerton.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 3rd, at Fairview Cemetery in Dunkerton. Richardson Funeral Service in Cedar Falls in assisting the family.
