the proud and happy parents of a
baby girl.

LITTLE HAZEL SCHLATER
INTERRED LAST MONDAY

Little Hazel Irene Schlater was
born August 9, 1912 and died at the
home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
George Schlater in Audubon township
Sunday, September 14, 1913,
aged 1 year, 1 month and 5 days.

The little one had been sick for
some time with a severe attack of
cholera infantum and complications,
but she bore her suffering patiently
until death came to relieve her.

The funeral services were held at
the home Monday afternoon at
1:00 o'clock, after which the remains
were laid to rest in the Sch-
wenneker cemetery, east of this
city.

The bereaved parents and relative
have the sympathy of the entire
community in this sad hour of be-
reavemnet.

Local Items

Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hill returned
to their home east of town last
week after an extended visit in
Seattle, Washington. They came
back sooner than they expected to
on account of the death of their
little niece, Hazel Irene Schlater
and also on account of the illness
of her mother, Mrs. John Schlater.

Note: Parents of Hazel Irene Schlater were George Walter Schlater and Florence L. Thomas.
