Mrs. Sickles’ Death.

Mary Adell Campbell was born in Clinton, Wis., July 29th, 1862, and died at her home near Hillrose, Thursday, February 7th, 1907, aged 44 years, 6 months and 8 days.

The family of the deceased moved to lowa when she was a small child. On November first in the year of 1882, she was married to W. W. Sickles, of Exira, lowa, to which union ten children were born, two having preceded her to the world beyond.

In 1889 Mrs. Sickles united with the Christian church and from that time until her death she was a true follower of the Master in whom she had such strong faith.

July 1st, 1901, Mr. and Mrs. Sickles moved to Colorado and located near Hillrose, and have won many friends during their residence in this county, who extend sincere sympathy to this family in their double bereavement, the oldest son, George, having passed away only six mouths ago with the same disease which brought about the death of his mother, acute Bright’s disease.

Being ill only two days, her death comes as a shock to her family and friends.

She leaves to mourn her loss her husband and eight children, a sister, Mrs. August Gault of Exira, lowa, two brothers, W. N. Seavey of Brush, E. C. Seavey of Danbury, lowa.

The funeral was held at the home Saturday, February 9th, at 10:30 a. m Rev. Brand of the M. E. church of Hillrose conducting the service, and the remains ware laid to rest in the Brush cemetery.

To those whom fate must sever.
We say good-bye, dear one--
And trust 'tis not forever!
