William Edward Tyler was born November 10, 1864, in Jasper county, Ia., and died at his home near Vandalia, June 30, 1912. At an early age he united with the Christian church, living his life firm in the faith that Christ is the Savior of mankind and looked always to Him for that reward of a well spent life. He leaves a wife and two children. The body was taken to Centerville, the former home, for interment.
