MISS SAWYERS IS CALLED BY DEATH
WELL KNOWN HEREFuneral Will be Held From the F. L. Sawyer Home Wednesday Morning at IOISO Funeral service will be held Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m. from the F. L. Sawyer home here for Miss Hygiene D. Sawyers, whose death occurred at Greenwich, Connecticut, Sunday morning, May 31.
News of the death of Miss Sawyer, comes as a sorrow to relatives and friends here, She was known to many in Centerville and this community as she was born here in February of 1S87, the daughter of Dr. J. L. and Mrs. Jennie Drake Sawyers, and was educated in the Centerville schools, Following her public school education she took further .work at the Ague Scott school near Atlanta, Georgia, She later studied music in Paris,France. She was in Paris from 1906 to 1910. She returned to Centerville in 1010 and stayed until 1911 when she went to live in California, Following the death of her father in 1914 she made her home with her mother at Greenwich, until her passing.
She had continued to live there since that time, 8h is survived by one sister, Mrs. William G, Baker, Jr., of Baltimore, Maryland, and one brother, P. L. Sawyers, of this city. Or, H, B. Trimble, pastor of the Central Church of Christ, will officiate at the funeral and burial will be made in the Oakland cemetery.
