The Appanoose Times, Centerville, Iowa, August 4, 1881

DIED, John A. Pixley of Sharon township, July 29th, aged 25, of inflamation of the bowls. Diseased had been married about a year.

(Note: I think this should have said "...of the bowels. Deceased had...." but it actually reads as I typed the article and it said "diseased!!")
