Lucille 'Lou' Ann Severson

Lansing, Iowa - Lucille "Lou" Severson, 84, of Lansing, died Friday, Nov. 13, 1992, in Thornton Manor Nursing Center. She was born Feb. 9, 1908, in Allamakee County to Herman and Molly (Danaher) Schwartzhoff. She married Harold Severson Feb. 6, 1937. He died in 1989.

Survivors are a son, Daniel Severson of Lansing; a daughter, Sharon (Charles) Snitker of Solon, Iowa; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; four brothers, Harold Schwartzhoff of Cedar Rapids, Greg Schwartzhoff of Milwaukee, Wis., Cletus Schwartzhoff of Chicago, Ill., and John Schwartzhoff of Lansing; and two sisters Helen Mooney of Harpers Ferry, and Ann Helming of Cedar Rapids.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Lansing, with Father H.L. Tegeler officiating and burial in Gethsemane Cemetery, Lansing. Friends may call from 3 - 8 p.m. Sunday, with a 7 p.m. wake, at Lake-Thornburg Funeral Home, Lansing.
