Williams, Lonnie Lionel, in this city, Dec. 18, 1921 at 5:30 A.M. in his 48th year. Funeral services at the Haudenschied Funeral Home, 2170 Central Ave. Tuesday afternoon, at 3:00 o'clock. Burial Rossville Cemetery, Waukon, Iowa.

Lonnie Lionel Williams, manager of the Belsky Avenue Top meat market on Julien avenue, was taken by death at the family home, 729 Glen Oak avenue, Sunday morning at 5:30 o'clock. He had been ailing for a long time.

He was born in Blairstown, Ia., December 15, 1874, and resided there until he was two years old when his parents moved to Waukon, Ia. For twelve years he conducted a meat market at that city. Four years ago he came to Dubuque, where he had since resided.

He was a member of the Oxus Grotto, Masaic Lodge, A.F. and A.M. Modern Brotherhood of America, and the Harmony lodge I.O.O.F.

He is survived by his widow and two daughters, Mrs. Zella Ludeking of Chicago, and Miss Jessie Williams of Iona, S.D.

The remains have been taken to Haudenshild's chapel, 2170 Central avenue, where funeral services will be conducted at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon by the Reverend J.W. Reed, pastor of the Grandview avenue Methodist Episcopal church. Members of the Harmony Lodge will have charge of the services.

The body will be shipped on Wednesday morning to Waukon, Ia., where interment will be made in the Rossville cemetery.

Conkle, Mollie's 2nd marriage - both age 35y [transcriber: With limited research, I could not find previous marriages for either & the info. on the marriage return should be confirmed although it is possible that they married each other twice]
*1920 U.S. census, Dubuque, Dubuque co. IA enumerates him with his wife Molly (48y, b. TN) & daughter Jessie (17y, b. IA). Occupation Butcher, Meat market
*1921 Iowa Certificate of Death, names his parents as William Williams & Rebecca Ogg; the place for his wife's name has a "~" and no name.
*1922 Aug 18 Record of Marriage, Chamberlain, Brule co., S.D. for Jessie Williams, age 20y, residence Dubuque, IA and Teofil Sniegocki, age 29y, residence Ione, Lyman co. S.D.
