Dorchester, Ia. - The body of Mrs. Herman T. Schwartzhoff, 69, will be buried in St. Mary's cemetery, Dorchester, Wednesday, May 4. Funeral services will be held at St. Benedict's Catholic Church in Decorah at 9 a.m., the Rev. Daniel O'Sullivan officiating.

Mrs. Schwartzhoff died Saturday, April 30, at her home in Highland township following a long illness.

The former Mary Ann Danaher was born May 4, 1879, in Dorchester, daughter of James and Ann Danaher. On April 21, 1903, she married Herman T. Schwartzhoff.

Nine children were born to them, all of whom, with their father, survive. They are Harold Schwartzhoff and Mrs. John Helming, Cedar Rapids, Ia.; Mrs. Harold Mooney, Harpers Ferry, Ia.; Mrs. Harold Severson, Lansing, Ia.; Al, Cletus and Mark Schwartzhoff, Chicago; Gregory Schwartzhoff, Minneapolis; Mrs. Charles Baxter, Webster City, Ia.; and John Schwartzhoff, at home.

She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, one great- grandchild; two brothers and three sisters: James Danaher, Caledonia, Minn.; Joseph Danaher, Waukon; Sister Mary Clematis, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. M.J. Ryan, Dorchester, and Mrs. M.L. Divany, Waterloo, Iowa.
