Waukon, Ia. - The death of John E. McCabe, well-known farmer and breeder of purebred cattle, occurred Wednesday at his farm home near Waukon. He was a member of the board of Allamakee County Agricultural society.

His wife and three daughters, Mrs. Louis Williams, Mrs. Ralph Batteen, Waukon and Miss Helen McCabe, Honolulu, Hawaii, survive. Funeral services await the arrival of the latter.

Two sisters and a brother, Misses Elizabeth and Katherine and Thomas McCabe, Waukon, also survive.
