Services Held For Daniel H. Ferris

Funeral services for Daniel Henry Ferris, 98, were held at the Schutte Funeral Home at 2:00 p. m., Monday, October 6 with the Rev. Curtis Webster officiating. Burial was in the Frankville Cemetery. Mr. Ferris died Saturday, October 4 at the Retirement Center at Waukon.

Daniel was born March 27, 1877 the son of Mortimer C. Ferris and Olive C. Hill Ferris. He was the last of his family, preceded in death by four brothers, Kendrick, Charles, Frank and Leigh and a sister Della.

He was united in marriage to Bertha Johnson of Elon, Iowa, who is deceased. Surviving are one son Leo, several grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Mrs. Ruth Padden and Mrs. Harriet Hager are the two nieces who survive.
