March 9, 1921, Page 3Mrs. Leslie Sanders died at her home on the Lund farm near Iveyville, Iowa, March 5, 1921, at the age of 24 years, 4 months and 17 days.
Miss Lillie Walter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Walter, was born October 18, 1896, near Nodaway, Iowa. She was married to Leslie Sanders January 11, 1920. To this union one daughter was born, Ellen May. Mrs. Sanders is survived by her husband and daughter, her parents, three sisters, Cordelia, Melvinia and Violet and one brother Alva Walter.
Short funeral services were held at the home and the body was taken to Villisca, where services were held Monday afternoon in the M.E. Church, conducted by Rev. Mr. Borst of Brooks. Interment was made in the Villisca Cemetery.
Many friends regret the untimely demise of Mrs. Sanders and extend to the bereaved ones their deepest sympathy.
