On Tuesday evening of last week George L. Beck and Miss Bertha M. Kertz were united in marriage at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. D.J. Kertz, in Precott township. The ceremony was performed by a brother of the groom, a missionary who came home from Corea last August for a visit. A number of relatives and friends were in attendance at the wedding. A wedding supper was served after the ceremony had been performed and congratulations extended.
Mr. and Mrs. Beck left for a visit with the former's parents in Nebraska and will then return to this county and make their home in Prescott township. The bride is a well known and popular young lady and many friends extend congratulations.
Among those who were present at the wedding are Mr. and Mrs. H.E. Westrope, Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Hellen, Rev. and Mrs. P.H. Mason of this city, J.D. Beck of Carleton, Neb., Mr. and Mrs. F.C. Beck of Omaha, Rev. and Mrs. Beck of Sonel, Corea, Misses Donna Shires, Jessie McCalla, Laura and Lizzie Marsden, Messrs. Vernon Kenedy and Warren Baker of Red Oak.
