On Christmas day at the home of Lyman King, southwest of Nodaway, occurred the marriage of his daughter, Miss Florence E. King to Daniel K. Strain. They ceremony took place at 12:30 p.m., when the pair took their place in the northeast corner of the parlor where the covenant vows were taken, that made them man and wife. The wedding was performed by Rev. J.K. Driver.
Both young people are well known in this community, and all unite in wishing them much joy and happiness throughout all of their wedded life. After the ceremony the bridal party and guests sat down to a bountiful feast of good things, and enjoyed heartily this wedding and Christmas cheer.
