Rites Held For T. G. Wyllie

Bridgewater-- Funeral services were held at the Christian Church at 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. F. C. McCallon officiating for Thomas Graden Wyllie, 83, who died at the Greenfield Hospital Sunday.

Mr. Wyllie was born Feb. 14, 1878 in La Prairie rownship, Streeter, Ill., the son of William and Maggie Graden Wyllie. He was educated in the schools inAdair County and was married to Mary Casteel in Greenfield. They lived in Washington township before moving to their present home in 1902. They celebrated their 61st wedding anniversaary recently.

Surviving are his wife and six children, Mrs. Tena Raasch, Mrs. Earl Lents, and Charles Wyllie of Bridgewater, Mrs. Ralph Burris of Tucumari, N. M. . Arthur of Fontanelle, and Mrs. Earl Herrick of Clinton; ten grandchildren, and 21 great grand children, and a brother, Andrew Wyllie of Bridgewater. He was preceded in death by his parents, three infant children, two brothers, Robert and William, and five grandchildren.

Music was furnished by Daryl Scott, Elto Williams, Wayne Handley, and Wray Wollenhaupt who sang "Beautiful Land" and "Sometime Somewhere" accompanied by Mrs. Clem Sinner and pallbearers were grandsons, Aubrey and Oburn Herrick, Lloyd Raasch and Dean, Carl, and Robert Wyllie. Mrs. Carl Garsidee and Mrs. Euclid Sullivan were in charge of flowers.
