EXIRA ITEMS

James Henry Dead

Miss Kelsey received word Tuesday
of the death of her uncle, James Henry
at his home in Okarche, Oklahoma,
Sunday. Mrs. Henry and stepdaughter,
Miss Jennie, arrived in
Adair Tuesday with the remains and
the funeral was held Wednesday at
ten o'clock a. m. and the body was
laid to rest by the side of his first wife,
a sister of the late Mr. Kelsey.

Mr. Henry was well known here,
having carried on the restaurant business
near the Exchange Bank for a
number of years. The children of his
first marriage now living are Mrs.
George Kness of Audubon township,
Mrs. Ben Cecil of Anita and Miss
Jennie Henry, all of whom were
present at the funeral. The children
by his second marriage number nine,
five sons and four daughters who with
their mother, except the oldest girl
Maggie, reside at Okarche.

The friends of deceased extend their
sympathy to the bereaved wife and
children during this hour of sorrow.
