Former Exira Boy Wed
At Adair Last Thursday

Mary Marnin, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Pat Marnin of Adair
was married to Robert Van Aer-
nam, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur
Van Aernam of Adair, and former
Exira residents, last Thursday
morning at St. John's Catholic
parsonage in Adair, with the Very
Rev. F. P. Larkin officiating. The
couple was attended by Miss
Geraldine Marnin and Clair Mar-
nin, sister and brother of the bride.

Following the ceremony a wed-
ding breakfast was served at the
home of the bride's parents at
which the wedding party and im-
mediate relatives were the guests.

The bride was graduated from
the Adair high school in 1933 and
has been employed with the Otis
Food Market in Adair. The bride-
groom was graduated from the
Adair high school in 1935 and has
been employed with the Otis Pro-
duce company.

Mr. and Mrs. Van Aernam will
make their home near Oakland
where they are operating a branch
grocery and produce station for
the Otis firm.

Mr. Van Aernam is a grandson
of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Basham.

Note: Mary Marnin's parents were Patrick Joseph "Pat" Marnin and Helen Agness McCarthy.
Robert A. "Bob" Vanaernam's parents were Arthur Vanaernam and Alice Basham.
