MERE CHILDREN WED Groom of 14 and Bride of 15 at Mason City..Special to Times Republican Mason City, Sept, 1, 1902 - FLOYD OWENS, aged 14, and MISS ADA HARRIS, aged 15, were married yesterday at the home of the bride’s mother MRS. VIOLA HARRIS (nee TATMAN) at 506 South Main street. They are in all probability the youngest married couple in Iowa. If they live the allotted time of man, they will celebrate their golden wedding at 64 and 65 respectively.

{Submitter comment: Viola Harris nee Tatman was my grand-aunt and the daughter of John Wesley Tatman and Mary Jane nee Freeman of Belle Plaine, Iowa. Ada Ethel Harris was my second cousin once removed,}
