| Samuel Wilson (1815-1885) husband of Elizabeth Errett Wilson. (These were my great-great-grandparents.) They farmed in Homer Township near the town of Rogersville. He was born in Ireland and emigrated to Canada. They moved to Benton County in 1872 and are buried in Gnagy Cemetary. The date when the photo were taken is unknown, but most likely was taken in Iowa. Samuel Wilson is listed in the "1878 HISTORY OF BENTON COUNTY, IOWA." |
