Nelda Mae Pardun Peterson

Nelda Pardun Peterson, 70, died at her home Wednesday, September 8, 1993.

Born at the Harrison Township farm home near Brandon, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Fay Pardun. Mrs. Peterson attended rural schools in Harrison Twp. and graduated from the Brandon Consolidated School, Brandon, Ia. She attended Cedar Falls Teachers College and taught rural schools before her marriage to Glenn D. Peterson of Vinton, Iowa.

She is survived by three sons, Steven Peterson of Putnam, WA; twins Boyd and Bruce Peterson of Spokane; daughter Kris Peterson of Spokane. One grandchild, Paula Peterson, Spokane, WA.. Also, she is survived by four sisters, Icil Welsch, Eddyville, IA; Milly Albert, Brandon, IA; Myrl Pronk, Clear Lake, IA; and two brothers, Robert Lynn Pardun, Yankton, SD; and Walter Glen (Bus) Pardun, Homosassa, FL.

A memorial service will be held in Spokane with cremation and burial in the Bear Creek Cemetery, Harrison Township, Benton County, Iowa.

Infant Buried
Ronald Ray Peterson

Brief funeral services were held this afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the grave for Ronald Ray Peterson, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Peterson, who was born Sunday morning at the Vinton Hospital. Services were conducted by Rev. A.F. Frankhauser of Dysart. Burial was in Rampton Cemetery, Monroe Township. A first child, the infant was a grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Petersonof Vinton and Mr. and Mrs. Millard Brown of Dysart.
