Colleen Parmater
Colleen (Connie) Parmater, 83, of Des Moines, formerly of Vinton, Cedar Rapids, Earlville and California, died Friday, March 26, 2010, at Trinity Center in Des Moines...with burial of cremains in Vinton.
She was born in Vinton on Feb. 15, 1927, the daughter of Frank and Mae Lynch.
Colleen married Russell R. Parmater on Aug. 26, 1946, in Vinton...She moved to California after retirement.
She is survived by four children, Patrick of Minnetonka, Minn., Peggy (Jim) Pierce of West Des Moines, Steve (Marilyn) of California and Sue of California; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Colleen was preceded in death by her parents, husband Russ and brother Roger Lynch...
