W. W. McCLINTOCK, 83 RETIRED FARMER DIES

William Walker McClintock

W.W. McClintock retire Benton county farmer died at 7:45 a.m. today at his home in Vinton he was 83. William Walker McClintock was born Jan. 11, 1872, in Kansas a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew McClintock. He married Nancy Mabel Thompson Feb. 18, 1895, at Urbana. Mr. McClintock came to Benton county from Kansas with his parents as a boy. He moved to Vinton from Canton township, 10 years ago. He was a member of the Baptist church. Mrs. McClintock preceeded him in death.

Surviving are a daughter Mr. J. C. Milholin of Mr. Vernon, a son Lyle of Shellsburg, four grandchildren, Billy Milholin and Ann, Paul and Vernon McClintock, Shellsburg. A brother and two sisters also preceeded him in death. Funeral services will be conducted at the Fry and Holland funeral home Thursday afternoon at two o’clock. Rev. Von Elbert will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery at Shellsburg...
