Edward Joseph Knuth
Vinton — Edward Joseph Knuth, 62, of Vinton, of a lingering illness Tuesday at the Virginia Gay hospital; a son of Mr. and Mrs. William Knuth, he was born Mar. 11, 1882, in Eden township, Benton county; five years ago he moved from a farm to an acreage on the west edge of Vinton; sold the land last fall because of his failing health; was preceded in death by two sisters, Mrs. Charles Kretzer and Mrs. Emma Abraham, and a brother, Herman Knuth; leaves following brothers and sisters, Miss Lena Knuth, W. J. Knuth, and Mrs. Henry Taschner, all of Vinton, and Mrs. W. O. Ioder, Tiskilwa, I11.; funeral at the Fry- Holland funeral home at 2 p. m. Friday; burial in Evergreen cemetery.
