Henry L. Hofferd
Henry L. Hofferd, 64, died suddenly Tuesday afternoon Nov. 25, 1941. He was born Sept. 13 1877 at Norway, IA, son of Jacob and Elizabeth Hofferd. He had lived in Norway all his life and had been blind since early manhood.
Surviving are the following brothers and sisters: Marie Hofferd and Mrs. H. L. Garrett of Waterloo, Mrs. Richard Williams of Manly; Raymond of Cedar Rapids; Frank and Mrs. Clara Flammang of Norway, the latter with whom he made his home. Preceding him in death were his parents, a sister, Anna, and a brother, Leo.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 28 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Michael's church in Norway with Rev. Wm. A. Kunkel officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael's cemetery. Friends may call at the Flammang residence.
